Quality golf course. Cool design, weaves around the Pamlico Sound and the Nags Head Village. Always in great shape maintenance wise. A bit pricey but to expected on an island.
When playing this course, keep in mind that it is a position golf course. Play the angles, hit the greens, and stay out of trouble. The fairways are narrow and offer little forgiveness! Bombing and gouging will not work on this course unless you want to lose a dozen balls. Play smart golf, as the course is not overly long, and you will thoroughly enjoy the challenge.
The course was not worth the money. Overall short target style course with a few water holes. The course sanded their greens and made it extremely difficult to putt and were slow.
Not worth the money for the $145 price tag. Also charging $7 for range balls for those green fees is bad business
Course was in quite good condition and the views are pretty awesome. Prices for golf are pretty ridiculous wherever you go in OBX. Only downside is depending on where you are staying in OBX the drive length can take way too long
Beautiful course! We played 18 and took our time enjoying each hole. Sun was out, no crowds or waiting, greens freshly cut, and a fun challenge. We were excited to golf along the ocean, which the pictures and timing of the sunset turned out amazing! The cost per person wasn't overpriced, and staff all friendly and helpful.
Nice layout along the sound. The course was in pretty decent shape. The pro shop staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful round. I would definitely play this course again. I just wish I had brought my own clubs and knew the course so I could have scored a little better.
What a great experience! Played this morning and found the track to be beautiful, fair and challenging. The greens were the best I've seen in some time. Receptive while still allowing the ball to release.
The staff was professional, friendly and welcoming. This was one of the best golf experiences I've had (and I've had many). I will definitely be back!! Highly recommended!
Great course! It's we'll taken care of and has gorgeous views. It's a little narrow, though, so play conservative.
Great Golf course with amazing views of the sound side of the outer banks. My wife and I played the front 9 twice while we were on vacation. Such a fun but challenging course and the guys in the pro shop were very accommodating. If we’re ever in the OBX again we will play here for sure.
